Not only did Kristian Blummenfelt take out the Olympic Games gold medal, his fellow athletes all had solid performances making Norway the best performed team individually at the Olympic Games. Kristian Blummenfelt went on to win the overall World Triathlon Series title, to be the only athlete to do so in triathlon history, then smashing the Ironman Triathlon world record in Cozumel, Mexico.  Meanwhile, his Olympic teammate Gustav Eden took out his second 70.3 Ironman World Championship title.

Olav Aleksander Bu, has been working extremely close with Kristian Blummenfelt over the last 5 years post the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and despite his hectic schedule, made time to share the many learnings he had from his career to date around Triathlon Science.

There is so much information in this episode, it's little wonder that Norway are leading the world of Triathlon across all distances from sprint events through to standard distance events 70.3's and now into the Ironman domain. You'll be astonished at just how fast Olav Aleksander Bu believes Kristian Blummenfelt can go and you'll have your mind expanded around what is possible when it comes to the science and application of that science into training, development and performance of athletes.
