Justin Rinaldi is the Head Coach of the Fast8trackclub and coach to Australia's new wave of middle distance in particular 800m superstar athletes including Peter Bol, Joseph Deng, and a growing stable of other international performers.

During this episode Justin discusses how he became an accidental coach back in 2007, how he's transferred his own athletic success and his highs lows and learnings into becoming an effective coach. Justin was the Australian 800m Champion in 1996 and a decade later in 2006 at 35 years of age.

Justin shares around the importance of gauging how well an athlete has recovered from our session, how he manages to juggle coaching some of the world's hottest up and coming 800m talent alongside a full time corporate job and why it is so important to live and learn by your mistakes.  We also hear Justins reflections on Peter Bol’s historic 4th place in the Olympic 800m final recently in Tokyo.
